Venture Smart is designed to help small technology and energy-related technology companies enhance their appeal to private accredited investors (i.e., venture capital firms, angel investors and other sources of investment funding).  Venture Smart Florida can help your company if you are attempting to secure private investment capital, but have been turned down by private investors. 

Venture Smart can provide between $5000 and $30,000 in grant funding to help you procure the business planning assistance, guidance and support you need to address concerns identified by private accredited investors such as Venture Capital firms, Angel Investors and other sources of private investment funding.  If you have a promising company but private investors have rejected you, then Venture Smart wants to help your company. 

Fourteen (14) Florida small business have received over $400,000 in Venture Smart grants.  Seven grants are currently remaining.
