MELBOURNE, Fla. – Officials with Florida’s Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) announced that Global Engineering Management and Support, Inc. (GEMS), one of their on-site companies at the Business Innovation Center, secured more than $1 million dollars in contracts during the 3rd Quarter 2008. The contracts are with the Department of Defense and a public mass transit customer.
GEMS is a leader in providing world class automatic test solutions and products to the military and space sectors. They provide test equipment hardware and software for the space, DOD and commercial industries, including TPS design, test system fabrication, integration, and maintenance. As a leading supplier of automated test equipment and test program sets, GEMS products were used in more than 70 successful satellite launches and 20 military programs.
GEMS is a registered and certified minority, woman-owned small business. Eva Kohfeldt is the president and her husband, Chuck Kohfeldt, is the vice present of engineering.
