Technology advances impact every aspect of our lives - and the classroom environment is no exception. New and exciting technologies, including handheld chalkboards and projector systems, enable teachers to incorporate technology training into everyday lessons.
"By partnering with TRDA, we are able to provide the highest quality instructors for our teachers," said Elizabeth Walden, network manager for the Jackson County School Board. "We have worked with TRDA on numerous projects over the years, and they have been an excellent resource for us."
In addition to the technical equipment training, participants will also receive training on collecting and compiling content into digital formats and how to incorporate technology into their lesson plans.
TRDA offered technology training workshops in the Jackson County cities of Marianna, Sneads, Graceville and Chipley in 2004, 2005 and 2007. As part of the technology training, workshop materials, teacher stipends and program evaluations will be provided.
