MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) today announced that fifteen Florida-based companies have been invited to participate in the Clean Tech Ventures Investors Showcase.
The Showcase will allow the invited companies to promote their technologies, products and companies to potential investors, customers, industry executives and other entrepreneurs. The event will include presentations, exhibits and networking designed to facilitate rapid assessment of the technologies and foster investment, business development and commercialization opportunities for Florida-based clean technology companies.

The Showcase is being conducted as part of the Igniting Innovation (I2) Showcase on September 7, 2011 at the Radisson at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
One year since its debut, the TRDA’s Rural Clean Energy Business Assistance initiative now boasts two success stories, and a couple of dynamic clean-energy products that might soon be on their way to market.
In early 2008, TRDA Energy Program Manager Ryan Greenough began canvassing the southeastern United States in search of companies developing tomorrow's alternative energy sources. His goal – to help at least one advance to the Industry Growth Forum, the largest venture event focused solely on companies developing clean-energy products.
