MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) today announced that fifteen Florida-based companies have been invited to participate in the Clean Tech Ventures Investors Showcase.
The Showcase will allow the invited companies to promote their technologies, products and companies to potential investors, customers, industry executives and other entrepreneurs. The event will include presentations, exhibits and networking designed to facilitate rapid assessment of the technologies and foster investment, business development and commercialization opportunities for Florida-based clean technology companies.

The Showcase is being conducted as part of the Igniting Innovation (I2) Showcase on September 7, 2011 at the Radisson at the Port in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
The I2 Showcase is hosted by TRDA and Space Florida and includes a full day of business presentations and exhibitions from approximately 40 aerospace, aviation, biotech, clean tech, defense, homeland security, information technology, life science and telecommunications companies from across Florida. In addition to the Clean Tech Ventures companies announced today, companies invited from the TRDA-Space Florida Igniting Innovation Capital Acceleration Program will be announced shortly.
