The Brevard County Legislative Delegation is seeking resumes from Brevard County residents whom are interested in serving the Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA). The TRDA will have three positions on its Commission opening on July 11, 2011.
The TRDA is governed by a non-paid, five-member Commission appointed by the Governor of Florida. The authority was created in 1987 by the Florida Legislature “for the purpose of promoting … Brevard County as a center for high technology and scientific research development.”
The Brevard Legislative Delegation will review the resumes and nominate three candidates for each Commission vacancy. These nominees will then be presented to the Governor for consideration and appointment.
