Start Up Firm Z-Facilitators Enters Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center

Titusville, Fla. – October 11, 2001 - Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center Director Dave Kershaw announced that Z-Facilitators, a firm specializing in water-related engineering design, analysis and modeling, will become the newest client company to enter the Incubator. With the addition of Z-Facilitators, the Incubator hosts eight client companies including Chromalux, Card*eComm, Florida Commercial Space Financing Corporation, MegaBits, SEBA, Solution Host, Space Media’s Stars Academy, and Z-Facilitators.

“Our products and services offer a wide variety of applications to Kennedy Space Center, the Everglades Restoration program and other projects,” says George Guo, president of Z-Facilitators. “We believe our presence in the Incubator affords us an ideal opportunity to build more business for our firm.”

 Z-Facilitators provides specialized support in a number of areas including surface water hydrodynamics, hydrology and hydrogeology, water transport, water quality analysis, and flood control. The company's knowledge-based, scientifically oriented assistance supports government agencies, private developers and multi-disciplinary engineering firms. To date they’ve successfully completed projects for the St. Johns River Water Management District, the South Florida Water Management District, the City of Cocoa, the government of Hong Kong, and others.

Established by the Technological Research and Development Authority (TRDA) in 1996, the Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center helps accelerate the success of technology-based, small businesses by providing affordable space, shared office services and fulfilling enterprise development needs to give companies a strong competitive edge.  The Incubator is managed through a joint partnership of Florida’s TRDA, NASA-Kennedy Space Center and Brevard Community College. The Incubator is located at Brevard Community College, Titusville campus, at 1311 N. Highway U.S. 1, Building 3.
