Two
New Technologies to be Launched at Business Incubator
Titusville,
Fla.- July 28, 2004 - TRDA's Incubator Network Director, Heidi
Brandow, announced Advanced Aero and Laser Lure Inc. will enter the
Florida/NASA Business Incubation Center (FNBIC) to take advantage
of the business nurturing environment.
Advanced
Aero, a company specializing in designing, developing and testing
their original Inverted V-Tail Aerospace Structure, plans to utilize
all of the services that the FNBIC provides for small business. Advanced
Aero requested specific assistance from FNBIC for financial support,
legal aide, marketing advisement, product development, and management
training. Advanced Aero's patented products include features including,
noise canceling handsets, state-of-the-art instruments, and FAA approved
emergency aircraft recovery parachute. The company strives to be a
leading provider of safe, efficient, and cost effective aircraft for
the Light Sport Aircraft industry.
Laser
Lure Inc. is partnering with the FNBIC to help them develop a two-year
marketing plan for their products for consumers in the fishing industry.
Laser Lure's products draw fish in by using a bright, colored laser
light. The luminosity reflects off the lure and attracts or repels
the fish, depending on the consumer's preference. "We pride ourselves
in our extremely bright laser light that has been proven to more effectively
lure fish, but we need the Incubator's assistance in the promotions
realm," says Bruce Young, president of Laser Lure.
"The
Incubator gives new and existing businesses an opportunity to develop
their companies and products to the level they hope to operate the
business and sell their products," says Heidi Brandow, incubator
network director with TRDA. "Both of these companies bring with
them great aspirations for growth and progression. Advanced Aero and
Laser Lure have made an excellent decision to join our operation in
an effort to develop their organizations."
TRDA
manages a statewide network of incubators including the Carrie P.
Meek Center for Business in Homestead and the Florida/NASA Business
Incubation Center in Titusville. An incubator is under development
in Melbourne with an expected opening in 2006. The network offers
entrepreneurs the opportunity to build a solid business by leveraging
shared resources such as access to venture capital, business mentoring,
marketing, technology support services, and affordable office space.
